Oracle Gé – Three Card Draw

25 04 2008

I was in the mood for some practical, timely insight this morning, so I decided to draw my daily cards from the Oracle Gé.  Although most oracles may reveal energies at work that may not manifest for several days or even months, I’ve found that Oracle Gé will usually refer to something immediate in my life.  The cards I drew were a little surprising:

  • 17 The Star
  • 12 The Dagger
  • 59 The Bat

The Dagger represents aggression, malice and violence, which is more severe when the card falls in the reversed position.  Luckily I drew the card upright today, but it still isn’t good news.  The Bat represents loss, theft, betrayal and fraud.  Eeek!  That is clearly not a happy combination.  The Star is the saving grace of the spread.  It represents protections in all forms including overt as well as secret defense.  It’s nice to know that someone has my back. :)

It appears that I can expect some negative emotions today over a betrayal or breach of trust–perhaps a nasty argument.  Thankfully the Star promises that I’ll be protected from any real harm or injury.

Oracle Gé – 3 Card Draw: Papers + Autumn + Two Flutes

26 03 2008

This morning I drew three cards for insight and guidance from Oracle Gé with no particular question in mind:

  • 40 The Papers
  • 55 Autumn
  • 20 The Two Flutes

The Papers refer to paperwork or administrative procedures which makes sense because this morning I have to take care of some administrative duties which will undoubtedly include a good amount of paperwork.

Autumn is a timing card that can predict that an event will occur in the Fall season, or within three months after the reading.  Autumn can also refer to a situation in decline, or tying up loose ends toward the completion of a project.  This card promises that I’ll get every done that I need to do today regarding the administrative process represented by The Papers.

The Two Flutes clearly represent a celebration.   In relation to Autumn, two possible interpretations come to mind.  First, The Two Flutes may refer to a successful outcome for the administrative obligations I need to take care of today.  Secondly, these cards could indicate that my actions today will bear fruit in three months leading to a happy outcome.  Either way, this is certainly good news!

Oracle Gé Three Card Draw – Arrows + Dove + Stork

20 03 2008

This morning I drew three Oracle Gé cards for insight and guidance, with no particular question or concern in mind:

  • 42 The Arrows
  • 60 The Dove
  • 18 The Stork

Interpreting the Dove as the key card, it looks like it should be a calm, relaxing, peaceful day.  The Arrows + Stork indicates that I’ll choose to nurture myself today.  That sounds good to me!  I have the day off from work, and don’t have anything planned.

The Arrows + Stork also suggests a decision to start a new project, and the Dove indicates overcoming any feelings of hesitancy.  I think these cards also refer to my decision to create this new blog today.  The multiple options (Arrows) could refer to the multiple oracle decks I plan to explore here!
