This morning I drew three cards from the Blue Owl Lenormand deck for guidance for the day.
- The Child
- The Book
- The Man
The child can represent an actual child in my life, and the book can refer to the child’s education or to something totally unexpected happening. The Man most likely represents me. Today is my little nephew’s birthday, and we’re having a celebration, so I wonder if these cards are referring to something unexpected happening with our plans. He’s too young for school, and too innocent to be hiding anything. I could be that I will end up covering up for a child today.
The other thought I have is that the child and book refer to a new area of study that will capture my interest. Nothing in the works at the moment, but I’m known to have a wandering eye when it comes to learning new things.
Hi Aristede,
Perhaps you will learn something from a child. Kind of the wisom out of the mouth of babes type thing. That’s the first thing I thought of when I saw the cards.
Also, perhaps a child will blurt out a secret to you – little kids are terrible like that. I used to be a Cub Scout leader for 4 years and it’s amazing what kids will tell you that they shouldn’t!
Hi Aristede,
Couple of things come to mind, actually same as what Sammie suggested, blurting out a secret. He may receive a book for his birthday from a man or about a man, he maybe quite smitten with it. Does he like spiderman or anything like that? Maybe is a surprise present for the little guy.

Hi Stede
LOL I couldn’t resist!
What popped out at me right off the bat is child/book meaning student. I think it’s describing you being a student of something-
maybe it’s the increased study on the playing cards? I don’t know-
or do you know a male (grown-up) student?
an extra card might have clarified this one a bit…
