For my daily three card draw this morning, I decided to pull from the Oracle of the Triad:
-
11 Temptation
-
22 Choice
-
14 Man
I will be faced with a choice, and these cards show that the choice or decision will be swayed by a man. Card 11 Temptation represents seduction and rivalry, so the man will have his own best interests at heart.
Card 11 Temptation can also refer to sexuality, and if I this spread for a woman or gay male, I would read these cards to indicate that a man would try to manipulate through sexual seduction.
Interestingly, Temptation + Man can refer to a gay man or the gay lifestyle, so that’s another idea I’ll keep in mind for how these cards will play out during the next couple of days.
This is a very deep message for you today, Aristede. The Triad Oracle is like that. I would think the Man card represents you and that you will have to make a choice or decision about a tempatation that you will encounter.
The Triad Oracle is somtimes so deep and other times I just can’t make sense of the cards. It is a very powerful oracle – sometimes, I get a tingling in my hands when I shuffle the cards. That sounds so weird but sometimes I avoid using it because I’m kind of leary of what it might say.
Hi Sammie,
Yes, I feel the same way about the Triad Oracle. It is a very powerful oracle. In fact, I owned the deck for a while before I even felt ready to begin working with it. I know it probably sounds weird, but I felt a little intimidated by this deck. I also feel a little leery of what might come up, so I don’t think you sound weird at all.
Have you heard any of the crazy urban legends regarding this deck? Apparently the cards actually burned a reader’s hands because she was misusing the deck.
Another reader was purported to have seen a death every time she laid out the cards, and within days after each reading, someone she knew personally would die. According to the story, she stopped using the cards and there were no deaths around her for many years. Crazy, huh?
Of course I don’t believe the stories, but I do feel something almost sinister when I work with this deck. I continue to use it regardless because there is also something wildly seductive about it. I’m not normally superstitious, but in this case….
Hello Aristede,
No, I’ve never heard any of these weird legends about the Oracle of The Triad. How strange. I guess I’m out of the loop or something.
I do know that sometimes, it makes my hands tingle and that sometimes I’m hesitant to use it!
